Le Vaquier is the perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation, the house is beautifully situated in the middle of the Cervennes with a river running around the property, the quality of of the furnishings and garden, swimming pool etc are superb. We personally enjoyed the wildlife, flowers, butterflies and insects, you can leave all your troubles behind and quietly enjoy our beautiful unspoilt world. The river sound is all you can hear, no noisy traffic it's wonderful, absorbing! Loved it!

We stayed at Le Vaquier as a group of seven for a winter retreat, and it was pure magic — days filled with cooking, long walks, games, yoga, and even wild river swims, followed by cozy evenings by the fire in the stunning Grand Salon as snow fell outside. Having visited in summer as well, I can say the pool is just as spectacular, making Le Vaquier the perfect place year-round to slow down, reconnect, and truly reset with friends or family.

From the moment you arrive, Le Vaquier draws you in with its timeless beauty, elegant yet unpretentious style, and peaceful Mediterranean surroundings filled with gardens, river sounds, and charming local animals. The love and care from the owners, Paul and Johnny, is felt in every detail, making it a place where you feel completely at home while truly able to disconnect and heal.

I had the chance to visit Levaquier and honestly, I don’t have enough words to describe how beautiful and peaceful it is. Every corner is thoughtfully designed with incredible attention to detail and great taste. It was by far one of the best vacations I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for the perfect balance between elegance, calm, and a truly relaxing atmosphere, Levaquier is a must.
